Effective education  Introduction Three areas of competencies (planning, design & development and community development ) out of the 14 areas of competencies in the National Professional Standards for Teachers in Namibia document, have been chosen for discussion below. Based on the following four prompts; first is importance of the competencies , what makes me think that having and achieving this competencies  will make difference in the classroom. 2nd the use of ICT to achieve my objectives and this three areas of teacher competencies. 3rdly how I plan to acquire and achieve the three selected competencies while I'm still studying.
